The Invaders were what the homesteaders, small ranchers & farmers were called during the Johnson County Cattle War against the large cattle companies in the Powder River country of Wyoming, 1889 - 1893. The cattle companies joined together to form the Wyoming Stock Growers Association & hired Stock Detectives & Range Detectives to shoot cattle rustlers on sight. Pic taken in 1892.
