I can't remember the name of the guy who made a lot of antler & horn furniture in the late 1800's. The Cody museum has some of it. Thomas Molesworth was another but he came much later.

April 14, 1914 the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company and the Colorado National Guard attacked a tent city set up by striking coal miners in Ludlow Colorado with machine guns killing men women and children in what was to be known as the Ludlow Massacre. The aftermath led to the New Deal.

^ I'm guessin' ol' Doug there grew up to be a big Bubba who worked in a local lumber yard until his back gave out and he had to go back to school to become a Certified Public Accountant. He wore Western boots and a Stetson Open Road every day of his life until he dropped dead from a heart attack at the age of 74.

When the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson, WY opened in 1937 it was equipped with a bar top made of Western Wyoming Knobbled Pine with 592 silver dollars imbedded in it. Still open today & since gambling has been legal in WY since 1901, it has continuously been equipped with slot machines.

BB, I thought this gentleman might be Major General George Crook but Crook died in March of 1890.
There was no date attributed to the pic that I could find and I haven’t been able to find anything yet identifying those in the pic.
