St. Petersburg, Florida 1950's photo by Robert Frank
Not much has changed, except the hats.
If you still have 1950's Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Pontiacs & Cadillacs crusing the streets I'll be on the next plane down. Not much has changed, except the hats.

Pontiac Star Chief or Catalina, not sure which. What is the car going by in the background? I'm not good with older cars.
Not far south of here they do.If you still have 1950's Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Pontiacs & Cadillacs crusing the streets I'll be on the next plane down.
Always figured this would be me living there someday, Ernest Hemingway style where the living & loving come cheap, drinking rum, smoking cigars & playing chess on the beach all day. What a retirement! The back and forth of the travel restrictions (COVID notwithstanding) is really disappointing. I had the opportunity to go back in high school during a period of looser regulations and it was an amazing experience. All the old American cars are taxis now!
In front of the Capitol in Havana.
Just some guy without a hat on!
Don't mess with that Granny with the ciggie, she looks tough.
