The more things change, the more they stay the same. Well ... now it's "asses" riding ATVs and side-by-sides, wearing t-shirts, shorts and flip-flops and tearing up and down the county road at all hours. So I guess it's not the same.

This picture substantiates the old saying, "He rode a forty dollar saddle on a twenty dollar horse."

What caught my eye (other than the nice hat and short tie) was the 1939 Ford sedan delivery (behind them) with unusual side widows in the rear half. Note the opening windshield and cowl vent. Much needed in New Mexico that time of year.
