I recently ran across this photo of Twain’s eldest daughter, the much-loved Suzy who died tragically at age 24. Photos can sometimes be misleading but I was shocked by how beautiful she is in this one:

Then I found this photo of a young Sam Clemens - he had a striking physical appearance as well. Something of the gypsy in the both of them:

Is this off-topic enough to warrant a shooting by Yosemite Sam?

Only if you stop posting! ;)

Suzy was quite a beauty.
Her smile and demeanor is not typical of
the time period.
Sad that she died so young.

Just checked and this one did it too . Wonder whats the deal ?

I only see the image when I quote you.
On your post all I’m seeing is “IMG”.
This is only for the iPhone.
On the computer, I can see the photo.

I wonder why that obviously Photoshopped Robert Downey Jr. photo was used when his real mug shots are readily available?

You can stop wondering!

His mascara was running down his cheeks on the real mug shot.
And he didn’t want to upset his fans on the Lounge.
But here he is....just for you! :D

Why are we looking at mugshots in this thread? There just seems to me something low about seeing pictures of people at some of the worst moments of their lives. Don't we get enough of this kind of thing in the tabloid world we're all forced to inhabit these days? It always reminds me of that nasty Puritan habit of putting people in the public stocks. Besides, I don't see a single hat.
