Schott seems to be on a pretty good roll as of late. I’ve liked all three of their latest offerings.
These pics (and info) were from the Facebook introduction and there are a few things that are described differently on the Schott website. One was the gussets. The actual Schott site says “Leather sleeve flap behind sleeve zippers”. Is this “flap” attached to only one side? If so, that seems pretty weak for a jacket that otherwise should have some motorcycle cred.I just saw this in a Schott email.. I dig it. Nice hardware and 2 way zip is a nice touch, the only thing that bugs me would be the open sleeve gussets.
24-24.5” is also the sweet spot for me with most jackets.I like it. Would be better at 24.5”
I almost posted about this when I got the email but figured someone else would so here we go.
Seems like this is pretty close to what people have been asking for in all the previous threads about the Shinki Schotts–a jacket that is a mainline Schott (in this case the 141) done in Shinki, rather than a new design. I'm impressed that they kept the quilted liner, too, and (to my eye) an improved version with the tartan cotton.
I would be tempted to buy this but I don't really wear cafe racers. Even so it's a tempting proposition.
@gold13791 pics or it didnt happen
If you can wear a layer AND it’s not to baggy with a T you’ve found a unicorn. Enjoy!
Looks good gold! Could you do me a favor and measure the back length from the base of the collar to the bottom. I really like everything about this jacket except the (listed) 26 inch length. Thanks
