I hope Marc was as nice to deal with as Steve is. It would seem they are a couple of real great fedora lovers.

If I could enlarge the photo some more, I'd venture a guess as to the cigar.
But when I click on it, I get an ImageShack upload page.

fftopic: I am guessing it's either a montecristo, padron or camacho. I downloaded the photo and zoomed in on it. The band looks very much like a camacho band that i had last night, and close to a montecristo.
And the hat looks great too!

If its just the bashes you're wanting, You could always get two regular feds instead, in different colours, for different occasions. Hatsdirect shipping is cheaper if you buy more than one hat at a time If I get a second Fed, it won't be another Dlx, because I already have a black hat (my Rusty), and if I got another brown I'd have two identical hats, which would officially make this whole thing a "hat problem".

I think my second Fed will be a tawny fawn. In a while.

Heh. I'm in a similar position to yourself - well, sort of (I've got no significant other on the scene to disapprove of me spending money on hats, just my own overactive conscience! lol ). I do feel the need for each of my hats to be sufficiently different in order for them to be justifiable. From originally only wanting the jacket, I'm planning to put together a reasonable Indiana Jones costume, though it'll be an amalgam of the bits I fancy frmo each incarnation more than a completely screen accurate outfit. I'll probably run with the Raiders bash for the planned brown Fed Deluxe, but go with the bash on the Crystal Skull hat for something else. Actually, Santa recently asked for some ideas for Christmas, and I suggested either a grey Stylemaster, or a Grey regular Federation. I doubt the Stylemaster is deep enough, but if the Fed arrives on Christmas morning, I'm thinking of something along the lines of a diamond bash. Unless my eyesight is getting worse again, that bash on the CS poster looks like it's a centre dent that's pushed down far enough to be just a sniff away from a diamond. I think that would look great in grey!

Assuming the first noe suits me when I get bit, whichever it is, I hope eventually to have one Federation in each of the colours available (brown and black deluxe, others standard).

Nope, it's brown. Look at the second picture. The lighting and dirt in the first one makes it look greenish.

You better do it before the movie comes out. The prices wll go up big time after the release.:eusa_doh: There is talk of adventurebilt introducing a mass produced authentic for a lot less than the handmade ones will be. But you would have to ask them about that.
