New from The Stetson/Hatco Outlet. I'm in trouble... Never seen and no one knows what this is. Is it an older discontinued or never released hat or a pre release for Fall 2018...? Its an Excellent Quality Stetson "Whippet" in a color called "Phantom Grey" but factory creased. Never heard of that...
I'm really liking open crown and not factory creased hats but I couldn't and wouldn't pass up this factory crease. Being shipped today.

Holy s%*@! That hat is absolutely stunning! The color of the felt with that ribbon is perfect! I agree on open crown but that factory crease is about as gorgeous a profile as one could hope for! Not to mention it is the Excellent quality!! You are one lucky devil Bob!! I am calling Candy right now just to see if by some off chance they have something in my size!

Just got off the phone with Candi... They only received two of these hats. The other hat is in 7 3/8. She mentioned it has a small blemish on the crown but didn't elaborate and I didn't ask her to send pictures because I didn't want to try and stretch the hat two sizes to fit my noggin. Somebody should snap that one up because just as Bob said Candi was telling me they don't know what it is..discontinued? prototype? Future release? Etc...

They previously had Excellent Quality Temples with a factory crease, but that's the first Whippet I've seen. Great looking hat, Bob.

I agree, it certainly does appear to be wider. I suppose it could just be an illusion with it being a lighter color but I doubt it as I concur it looks wider.
