The hat store-Houston Texas

Those of you loungers visiting Houston or who live here in Houston. I'm now working at The Hat Store. I'm learning the traditional way of fitting a hat to a customer and traditionally shaping western, dress, and straw hats and personally being taught by Gary who's grandfather started the American hat company in 1912. In a few weeks I'll be his main hat shaper for the shop. So if your in town and need a lid, come by and see me. Sometimes life takes diffirent paths, was going to start up my own hat company which one day I will do. instead I left Sunbody hats and now work with top quality American hat company, Stetsons, borsalinos, Panama straw hats. I took a risk and what hatter wouldn't want to get the chance to shape high quality hats for a living, and to push to the next level in his career. I hope to see you loungers in the shop, and I look forward to helping you all out with a new lid.

I pass thru Houston many times a year on the way to the USA Gymnastics National Training Center. I will have to make time to visit.

We fit the hat to the customer, shape open crowns, clean, and we also put gold leaf initials in your hat. We sell leather hat bands, bolos, stampede strings. Leather belts from tooled belts to exotics such as ostrich leather. We also carry belt buckle sets.
