Love the horse jacket.

Me too @Ross Young ! Showed it to my wife even. Do you have that detailed on the Lounge somewhere?

Thanks guys! It’s new from RRL 2019 fall line. Incredibly expensive and not worth it (made in China) material wise but the fit and feel are very nice.

The front has short horn motifs and cool buttoned pockets. I bought the misses a really nice deer skin fringe jacket last year (half the price of the sweater...) and have been looking for one for myself since. Never landed on one that I loved so this sweater is my deerskin compromise piece to complement hers. People in Portland kept asking where our horses were!

Well, it looks cool for sure.

And then I picked up a couple of MORE green hats!! I KNOW steur will just love all these (the french one I got from him!!) There is here: Stratton, Stetson (three), Churchill, Cavanaugh, Tomilson, Huckle, Lembert, Bayerland, Fletchet, Borsalino, Resistol, Purto Fino, Peters, Malory and a couple others....they are ALL green thought photograph quite differently with some of the darkest looking like medium grey in the photo's (why is that?!?!?!). Even the Stetson sage (and we all know how dark that is) washed out.....Color ranges from pale moss green, to moss green, to forest green to an awesome dark, dark, emerald green (almost black) (the Borsalino Homburg ish hat) to three or four of the dark sage. Even the plaid cloth hat is quite dark olive in real life.........
When I purchased a few more lately I was wondering just how many green hats I had....Make great fall hats.......go with more than one would think. Even the velour ones. I have had tons of compliments on my velour......enjoy!

For a quick bonus I shot a picture of a WW2 officers fur felt service cap (YES, Fur Felt, and so marked by Pettibone Brothers) I actually have 2 or three such caps (Fur Felt), they are quite nice! (Heavy too!;) Weighs as much as a hat!!!)

A true forest of green hats. Thanks for sharing your green hats. I believe all of us should go green.

"Yes I do have 2 green vintage Stetson Stratoliner hats" was the answer to my wife this morning. They are different. The older Stratoliner (decade + earlier hat) has light very malleable felt with a soft fine quality leather sweat. The older one, while still malleable is not baby soft in feel to the fingers.

Stetson Stratoliners in the same felt hue, pine green, are not the same.

The decades difference between the hats is obvious, to me.

This is beautiful.
B

seconded, great piece Brent!!

Really really nice!!!!!!

One of your best, Brent. A color we all unconsciously crave. So rich, but so subtle. A hat of powerful, classic earth tones, yet it’s one that would rarely be a first hat, definitely a hat of a most discerning man with more than one.

Thank you all. It’s not often such a hat in 7 3/4 comes my way.
