Great job on the repair work Tom. You did a fantastic job of not only cleaning, repair but brought life back into a hat that would have been lost.

Thanks for the comments; tomorrow's temp is expected to hit 86f here, so the new hat will definitely accompany me to Knoxville, maybe Thursday also. After that, highs in the mid-60s, will be wearing the thin-ribbon westerns between Panama season and Fedora season.

Figured this one needs a bump, especially as the temps. rise. Tom makes a fine hat and does great refurbs and conversions. I bought this one from him several years ago as it's posted in here somewhere where the ribbon looks a whole lot bluer and the straw is a bit whiter. Still holding up well. Cuenca semi-colado.
