The Flat Head’s “DW001” Deerskin Leather - Any thoughts?

Have you any thoughts on the The Flat Head’s “DW001” deerskin leather?

I love the double rider style they have in this leather. The jacket looks fantastic and I particularly like it without the epaulette. If this exact design was available in the horsehide leather from the Shinki tannery they this would be an absolute grail jacket for me.

Have you any thoughts on the different leathers?

It has the zips on the back not the buckles. The Delraiser is a fantastic jacket it’s just the back is not as good as the standard jacket.

Didn’t see the back. Wasn’t aware it had the buckles. The buckles in the back always looked odd to me, out of place. I actually like the zippers on the Delraiser, it’s more true to the originals which these are based on.

If they would have kept the collar shape the same on the Delraiser as on the regular model it’d be perfect imo.

When I was in Osaka a few weeks ago, the sales associate at the Flat Head shop had a deerskin cafe racer jacket. It was simply amazing and he loved it. Said they would be making more and likely have them available in the middle of this year. Their deerskin is great.
