The Femme Fatale look

I love the look of the femme fatale from the noir movies, that very sophisticated of lady, how does one achieve this look ( beside for carrying a gun in your vintage handbag)?, it is makeup, acssessories, a certain dress?

I think it is all those things, plus personality and attitude! You may look the part but if you don't feel comfortable or that it's not really 'you', then nobody is going to be convinced. Oh, and don't forget the mood lighting!! lol

Attitude. I think a femme fatale would still look like that in a bin liner. The clothes, makeup etc just accentuate it.

So do I! She has that look! Though I got to say that she is such a kind and sweet person so eventhough she looks the part I couldn´t imagine her ruining men intentionally (I can imagine though that she is a little heart-stealer )

I wish I could look like a femme fatale too, but I am looking way too much like the "sweet little girl" the best I can achieve is a librarian look lol

It's funny, I did some photographs for school, and one of my fellow students said I look like a femme fatale in that picture, but my teacher said I look like a housewife from the 30's lol I don't really think that any of this is true.....

I also agree, gok is pretty much "femme fatale-able"

I think the secret to the femme-fatale look is the air of invulnerabilty and thinly veiled intimidation that goes along with it. Sort of the way my cat looks at me....

I think being able to be very mysterious and private (yes...the quiet one) brings a lot to the femme fatale look.

And count me in on GOK seemingly having that femme fatale look IF she chooses...

Watch LOTS of 1940s movies. LOTS!! Watching hundreds of movies have helped me with my 20s/30s look. It instilled the feeling within me to carry it off.
