Great hats!!! Though your looking a bit schweaty and stiff.

This is a Disney Lancer I just sold in the classified section, but brought to you by popular demand! Its 7 1/2 or I would have hung on to it. The felt was so soft and it was in great condition.

I'd like to take a stool here at the diner . . .

This one is actually one of my favorites. Not sure of the model name, but it is similar in style to the Dobbs "Gay Prince" circa 1945 . . . I have worn it quite alot, and it could probably do with a cleaning and reblocking . . . But even so, I think it looks pretty sharp.

You know Marc, that pale Disney with black ribbon may be just the hat to have made up for Winter. Dramatic plus tax.

I've saved that picture also. One of the very best ever.

This one is currently in the classified section. I would gladly trade it for Marc's dream hat.

If only my computer and my Photobucket account would learn to play nice, I'd post pics of my one and only Disney, an early 1940s (I think, based on the best evidence I've seen so far) Ahwahnee model, which I acquired from our Nick Charles (one of four cool old lids that have come my way -- at quite reasonable prices, by the way -- via his good agency) some time back and about which I've waxed at some length before, on account of it being a fine beater -- a faded brown wide-brimmed number with an orange-y grosgrain ribbon and edge binding.
It's great to have those good-as-new (or nearly so) vintage hats in one's collection, for sure, but there's also something splendid about a well-worn but still serviceable and good-lookin' hat that was made back when Grandpa was a young man.

More Disneys. I didn't feel like resewing the sweatband on my Knox Derby, so for the price of the repair, I picked up this Disney derby.

Say, none of mine have union tags in them. I think every other manufacturer I own has union tags. Wonder what the story was.
