Fun thread! Never checked in before because not into the Derby but do have some serious shades. Think Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange" (1971) and the "droogs" may be partially responsible for this particular fetish.

Your bob hat, derby, billycock or bombín looks fitt'n on top of your head! But hey, you can not go wrong with a hat favored by the Ecuadorian Quechua women. I see them as particularly fashion forward. The bowler was terribly popular with the working class folks of early England. You make it appear upper crust.

All of the above jest aside, looks sharp.

I can imagine the bowler worn with a dark based Pendleton Board shirt and some LL Bean kahkis for a special dog walk would cut a fine figure.
