This is cross-posted from the “Classic Workwear” thread, for which I apologize, but it occurs to me that a broader audience for my request might be able to help.

I caught part of The Courtship of Andy Hardy last night on TCM. Mickey Rooney is working on a Model A at one point, and is wearing a Jughead-style felt beanie and light-colored overalls with the garage name and address embroidered on the back. At least, I think that’s what’s embroidered on the back, I didn’t really catch a clear glimpse. Anyone got a shot of that lettering? I just bought a set of white coveralls not too long ago, and have been wondering how to spice them up a bit.

While you're at it, can anyone tell me what make that big "sedan" (looked more like a limo to me) he was towing was? A real beast of a car, but a beauty.

I think it was the name of the garage, Dugan's. The owner's name was Peter Dugan, unless I am mistaken. Then again, it could be Carville Garage, the name of Andy's hometown...

Right, I figure it's something like that. I'm more interested in the design and fonts, etc, rather than the actual words. Photos of period mechanic's wear aren't super common, and I'd like to use it as an example to follow, rather than try to clone it.
