The interior is far nicer than the exterior, in my eyes. Looks reminiscent of a Thing.

The exterior paint job on the Hermes 2cv is a bit dull, but I still think they're cute. This is a nice one. Nothing thingy about it.

That's the Charleston model, I believe. The interior if the Hermes looks a bit too Eighties (well, duh!) for my tastes. Or maybe just not utilitarian enough for the 2CV. This is a car, after all, that was designed to be driven across rough ground by French farmers, if memory serves.

Yes, that was my first thought as well, that a Hermès interior would be a bit too elegant for the 2CV; kinda like putting a Hermès saddle on a plow horse. Still, I do like the result.

But really, this is the type of auto you'd expect to have a Hermès interior:

Hey..... nothing wrong with that. I used that saddle no matter what horse I was on. Comfort is comfort

I drove in them in Chile as a young bloke in the late 1970s. Everyone used them including the Chilean military because they could go on a beach they were so light.

I used to want a 2CV in the worst way. Have only seen two on US roads in my lifetime, one was just a few weeks ago. Richard Dreyfuss drove one in American Grafitti. Just imagine how it might have been if Disney had made "The Love Bug" with a 2CV instead of a VW.

Love those old 2CV's. although I've never driven one. Traction Avant is also great, as is the SM. Too bad they never were big over here!

My aunt used to have a Gitane blue 2CV. Not comfy for driving over country potholes, but very, very cute!

We had a Citroen Dyane, in the early 1970'swhich is very similar to the 2cv, it was always laughed at by the neighbours, but it was fun as kids, to stand up with your head through the rolled back canvas roof

My memory fails me, but Citroen manufactured a 2 door touring version of that car with a Maserati engine.

First time I saw one was in Europe. Stopped me in my tracks.

Yes they did. The Citroen SM. I certainly wouldn't say no to one.....
