Mmmm. I welcomed the magazine and still read it, but I think 'the chap movement' (which The Chap may or may not have started and may or may not have anything to do with) has lost its way. I think that the 'tongue in cheek' stunts that The Chap started (e.g. mass hat doffing) have become confused with the 'upper class twit' sketches that the Monty Python team used to do (which IMO ceased to be funny a long time ago) so that in some recent 'chap' events sexist, stupid or bad behaviour is applauded or rewarded.

Just my opinion.

Don't know about subscribing but it is a great read. I do get the feeling it is a british humor skit though. None the less I love it.
