The cap from Rocky IV

Hi,

this is my first post to the Lounge, it is such a great forum!

Could anyone tell me where I could get a hat such as the one Rocky wears when he steps off the plane in Russia in Rocky IV? Would this hat be classed as a Big Apple or a Newsboy?

A company called The Hat People, has different cuts to the same style of hat. The first reminds me of the caps worn by golfers at the turn of the last century. The cap worn by S.S. looks like their "extra full cut". I have one, and it is extra full. I also have two of their "full cuts", and somewhere between the two would be nice. They are nicely made, without any stiffener in the bill.

I think that the Extra Full Cut is the way to go. How it will look on my rather less Rocky-sized head remains to be seen but its worth a shot!

Warning.... if you do indeed have a smallish head, you could end up looking kind of pimp like with the extra full.

yeah, just looks like a pretty standard wool eight panel. Try B!wear, or even the NY hat company.
