Hi, thanks for the compliment. The buckle is purely decorative. That buckle gives it some versatility.

First outing for a brand new Monsivais & Co newsboy, the “National” model in a very nice cotton gingham. Fit is a little looser than I like but it doesn’t slid down my noggin or fall off so it’s all good. Maybe because they call it the National but I feel the need to wear it to a baseball game.
