We don't have just one thread for suits, but rather one for vintage pics, one for vintage inspired new suits, one for tailoring tips etc.
My intention was to perhaps move in a similar system for caps, as someone has pointed out there is a mix of modern, repro, vintage inspired and vintage in one big thread here.

I disagree that it is a copy-paste thread, as I posted some screenshots on there that I haven't seen here before.
I don't think any aggravation is necessary.

I was thinking the same thing. Surely it must have been time consuming to match the pattern so perfectly at the seams, but no one can argue with the results. Stunning!

Absolutely. If all the vintage suits were on one thread it would be madness, why should it be different for caps? It also worth remembering that not everyone who reads the FL actually posts here. There will be some people using it simply as a visual resource for vintage cap photos etc. Modern interpretations (as WO derful as they are and as much as I love them) will be irrelevant to that reader.

There is also a whole separate thread for "Newsboy Caps," so we aren't setting precedent by starting a vintage thread.

Here is how I have seen it work on threads. If there is no meaningful discussion on a thread it will sink down below the first page on a forum. Once it goes below the second page it will require a dedicated poster to bump it back into the first page otherwise thread will keep floating down till users forget about it.
So let the thread sink or swim. Time will tell. This thread is a total information thread on Caps for people to find and will always be close to the top page as it has more interesting info. For the new user to find.

Interesting liner DamianM, I've seen them before. It's as if there was a Canadian national cap company or something.
