Great fabric, Che. I wish I could find something like this in my size (or just the fabric for a repro). Speaking of repros, here is a Vecona Vintage darted cap in grey salt and pepper.

Wow wow wow, Che - HE SHOOTS HE SCORRRRES!!!! What a totally amazing vintage lid for Moco!!! That looks 1920's for sure, especially adding the style of the logo into it - I'm more accurate at dating typography than anything else. The border around the cap logo is very Nouveau, so it may even be late teens. In any case, it looks perfect on the little guy. Most Stylin' Kid In L.A., I'd wager.

I also dig the clover-style snap.

Florian, another classic ensemble, and a great lid to cap it off!!!

Thanks. Yes, the waistcoat is made from the same fabric.

Today I found some striped workwear cotton fabric. Grey and black. This will be a great custom cap one day. But first I wait for my simonds bespoke cap that is on it's way to europe.

My new design, which I'm calling 'The Zephyr.' (not to be confused with one last year of the same name that just wasn't nearly as Zephyrish). 100 - 120 year old Bulgarian hand harvested, dyed and woven cotton, 1940's kimono silk liner, leather visor and sweat, United Carr snap.

As you can see here, I made two so far out of an intended three - one for my father who I'm going to see in the US in a week and one for me - the last will be for my son Miles, so the three generations can sport the same gear.

I love how different the colors are between these two caps, as the dye changes as it moves along the roll.

Hi fellas. I just had my last post, of a pair of caps I made for my dad and myself, taken down by the mods as they assume I was, as they put it, 'ginning up business.' Whatever. So I won't be able to post my own caps here anymore. I'll eventually put up a Merchants page when I feel like that's the thing to do, but I'm bummed I can't share my passion for making caps (for myself, mind you!) here anymore.

I'll say again, please consider stooping to join Cap Department on Facebook. It's such a joy to see Johnny C and Barry S contributing daily there along with 70 others and nothing cap related is off limits. Hope to see you there.

I'm also confused: a few weeks back Keith posted a fantastic cap he'd made and there were plenty of questions about whether he'd started making caps for sale. The answer was basically 'not yet'. So, whilst I assume that he plans to start making caps for sale, I haven't seen any sign of it happening yet.

Moderators: any chance of clearing this one up please? Cheers.
