Gents,
Since the thread for Simonds caps has been closed, I have opened a 'group' called 'Simonds Cap fans' as a place to discuss the caps made by Barry. Click on 'community' and there's a drop-down menu - 'groups' can be found there.
Hopefully those of you who have bought caps from Barry will join the group so we have a convenient place to go to discuss his caps, look at new styles and details and discuss cloths we are considering for caps.

The starflower is going to get some attention. Most complicated geometry I've ever seen in a hat.

Great to see the historical reference.

:eusa_clap for you both.

Breathing life back into old cap styles!!

RLK: Well done for commissioning those caps!

Johnny: Excellent work.

The 'five pleat' is the new 'must have' cap style.

" Die gute Breitermütze " " The good Breiter Cap " is arrived yesterday. A Cap from Breiter, a hatmaker from Munich.
Probably from the 30s or 40s. with the old German lettering Sütterlin. The condition inside is like new from the outside I could remove all stainings and soilings!

Some photos!
