The belt on the back looks almost functional instead of just a decoration.

Looks almost functional or IS functional?

Wigens cap that our friend Chepstow so generously parted with. This cap is very well made and comfortable. I'll do my best to wear it out, but I know it won't happen. Thanks, Manfred!

Cool, Randooch. Last winter, my Wigens got a lot of use. The Wigens are bit like a modern 4wd that you might have parked next to your vintage car - the vintage car is great for posing in, but the 4wd is built like a tank and you can take it anywhere and not worry about it. I also have an eight panel wigens, but I think the so called longshoreman (silly name) ivy style is a better design.

I only have two caps ,both were purchased at the village hat shop .

One is a grey "newspaper boy" type that I wear to work with a grey vest ( need someplace to put the pocket watch right ?) and my grey work uniform .
The second one is also the newspaper boy type ,but in a herringbone pattern.

I got them both for $ 15.00 each and they are Jaxons and they are not cheaply made.

All the Best, Fashion Frank

I had only inquired about the brown one with the rough & gruff fabric and the seller told me it was around 55, which is why I became your (sadly defeated) contester. ;)

2 of them are 55, but the rough brown is smaller than that, was one of the best looking.

I posted these in the new hat thread but I thought I'd put them here too. My dog ate my favorite cap. My wife made a pattern from it and made me this corduroy replacement. I am looking for some tweed so she can make another one too.
