Lots of steam, a standard hat stretcher, and a crown stretcher that I made myself out of two aluminium U.S. military officers cap trees from WWII. So far, it's worked like a charm on vintage tweed, felt, linen, and straw caps.

Only two weeks after the brown one with the jazzy fabric I managed to grab this beauty. Another wonderful NOS French flatcap, probably from the 1930's. Gray salt & pepper tweed with some red flecks thrown in for good measure (which I wasn't able to capture). Remarkably crips condition without any holes, cracked sweatband or ripped seams.

Here's Mando Dorame (from Royal Crown Revue) at a party last night, wearing a cap that seems to be from 'Mister Freedom'. Would you agree?

Yes it does look like a Mr.Freedom cap it has the snap male end right thru the cap and on the underside of the brim just like mine. RCR need to update their website bad.

Nice cap, I notice a lot of wrinkling happening under the brim, I had that problem with my caps, but the fusible interfacing and some stitching cured that problem.
