I've been away from here a long time - nice to see lots of great stuff around here!

Today I wore my 'Gadabout' flat cap, in 1930s workwear indigo cotton. The Sydney spring is fast turning into summer, so I gotta wear my nice clothes while I can!

If the devil comes to me and would say:

You are allowed to live on, BUT:
You are only allowed, to keep ONE kind of you vintage-clothes! You have to choose NOW!

Absolutely, I would keep my flatcaps, I tell you!

What would you choose? :D

I'd keep the shirt my dad gave me that he bought the day he got back from the Pacific in 1945. I'm going to see if I can get Luxire to make a copy, as the fabric has gotten a bit fragile.

My personal preference has always been hats over caps but as I grew my beard to longer lengths I bought a couple of Cuffleys; a black Stetson & a charcoal gray Dobbs. I like the look with a long beard. Would like to find one in silver or aluminum color.

Would this be an engineer's cap or some type of cadet cap? The bill seems short for an engineer's cap, and the front too rounded for a cadet style cap.
