Barry, SO NICE to see you and your amazing new cap, but even nicer to put a face to your other half Tonya!! What I wouldn't give to make a snow angel over there right now.

Nice one, AnA, those ear flaps make all the difference in cold weather!

Thanks again all, for the kind words regarding my fumbling around.

Too bad the icy and snowy weather held up my B! Wear delivery!! It was supposed to arrive today. :(

No biggie. It will probably arrive this weekend or on Monday. Getting excited! :)

i just got another 8 piece newsboy , , i have not bought one in years because they are hard to find , sewn correctly and to my desired specs , i got this one from B'wear hats, he seamed like he knew what he was doing, years of experience and so on, so what i got was less and more than what i was expecting the man knows how to sew, i give him that , its a great design and it in denim, a great material , a suede headband , satinet liner, great feel, the brim in a little floppy the internal material is a polyfiber material, he said he makes it firm with a wire inside, i was not for that so i told him forget the wire, i wish it was just plain firm like baseball cap material - anyway this is what ticked me off -out of all the years of experience this is how the button was sewn on, (way off center ) and how i fixed it to salvage the hat, -------- i could not return it because it was a "special request" but the maker just never owned up to his mistake kept saying it was no big deal- well to me and i would assume other hat lovers it was not acceptable , either way he returned 10.00 ---------i like the hat and wish i could get more, but unfortunately our disagreement left us part from future business

Well, you've got it working for you Brother Cavefish. I like the curve of the brim you've got going on, looks good.
I've got two caps from B-wear, an 8-panel and a Brando "Wild One" style motorcycle cap. The wool material used on them is top notch, and the sewing is solid. I'm with Hoosier Daddy though, there's something a little off about the 8-panel. Maybe the way the seams are clocked, or it could be that the brim seems kinda small. It does kind of look like a beret a little, maybe I should have gone with something other than plain black. It's a well made cap, it's just not my favorite. I like the biker style one a lot though. Solid, thick leather brim on it, and better materials used than on some I've seen for twice the price.

My experience with Brett has been exemplary;I own several of his caps.
he sews great, thats why I could not fathom the non centered snap----------i was to say the least pissed, I wanted more hats, a so simple center and yet so far away, - i was hoping for a Whoops, sorry i will fix it or send it back and i will make a new one, half off on another hat etc. , but i actually had to guilt him out on many a emails , i told him let your conscious be your guide on the outcome and 10.00 was his reply---------wow-- i mean granted he has low charges for hats, no doubt, but make them right is all i ask , right oh well
