Made for one of my repeat customers. 3 back pleat with novelty vintage (what I suspect to be 1920's) Tweed

Very sporty Damian. I like the back pleats.

Mike, that's a nice one. Also a nice coat and vintage cop shades. Ray-Ban? Good to see you. Twice in a day, no less.

Thanks the design is from the early 1920s when they were experimenting a lot with different cap styles to keep them modern.
the 3 inverse box pleats was very popular I believe from my research and finding in films.
It was made for a fellow 20s-30s aficionado. It will go perfect with many of his early suits.
Very Rare fabric and only one cap Left without the 3 back pleats. If you want 1920s, that is 1920s.

Here's a whisper-light salt & pepper cotton newsboy, NOS from the 1930s. Perfect for this Sydney swelter. Unlined and sure to be a fave.

Nice one Keith. Great profile, and that fabric is beautiful. I like the x-ray shot. I could use a cap like that down here in summer too.

Mike, I like the style of them. Top of the line, too, I see. My vision insurance is due to kick in for some new frames this year...hmmmm

Cordova Starflower

A couple caps from Johnny arrived in the morning mail: this stunning Starflower, along with a true vintage 1920s eight panel I'll wear tomorrow. Johnny does some amazing work.

Looks like I'm in pain - but it's only the sun in my eyes...

That is an amazing cap Keith, nice how it holds its shape.

Congrats on the new JC Andy, that one is pretty rad.

Dale, did you notice the RX frames at Randolph? Pretty fairly priced and the quality is top notch.

Beautiful Andy - and Johnny! I was wondering if a Lounger picked that one up when it went on sale... Looking forward to seeing your vintage purchase too, Andy!

Thanks for the comments gents. Johnny had to make this one for me, as I wear a fairly small size hat (56). It's nicer than I had imagined it would be. My wife, who doesn't really notice what's on my head, commented on how stunning the Starflower is.

Johnny - I'll be taking a photo of the vintage 8-panel cap tomorrow morning. My wife saw the 8-panel on the table and said - now that's a nice cap. From a woman who really doesn't appreciate my hat fascination, that's about as good as it gets. We're two for two with the Starflower and the 1920s 8-panel according to my wife.
