Thank you for the compliments everyone! Great looking cap DD. I like it better than my vintage Harley Caps. I like the sides that hang down floppy like that don't stick out the sides.

Jaxon Cap

Wearing my budget Jaxon Newsboy cap once again on this chilly morning...had to make a couple minor modifications to the cap to expose the bill / visor...

Love that cap DiamondDave

howardeye, seems we watch the same old classics on TCM...Henry Fonda wore a nice cap in the Grapes of Wrath if you ever get a chance watch it...

Thanks my friend....Wait till you see what I do with a Simonds as soon as I save up a little more cash to buy one...I love those caps you make...I want something similar to the cap Henry Fonda wore in the "Grapes of Wrath"...you would definitely be the guy to make it...

Thanks seabass...You look great in that cap my friend. It's awesome, no matter what your neighbor said it looked like. I guess some people don't recognize class....and I'm old enough to remember those guys too!...

What a difference a day makes...today it's pretty warm outside for some yard work....so for me, I'm wearing my Stetson Gilchrist linen cap...can't wait to get a Simonds cap though!

T Jones, very nice cap! How does linen fair in the heat?

Thanks splintercellz...I've had this one and another Gilchrist for a couple years and they've held up pretty well so far...they're light and cool to wear in the Summer...I also put a couple paper towels inside the hat to help soak up the sweat...it's not bad for a budget hat, about $58 from Village Hat Shop....for a few more dollars you could get a City Sport cap which in my opinion, is a better quality cap...

Seabass - looks great on you. We still have our milk delivered by a milkman (less stylish looking though!)

T Jones - Nice cap. I like linen caps for summer wear, although our temperatures tend to be more moderate. I've got a couple of City Sport caps, but the ones I've found don't have quite as much volume as I like in a cap. The Christy's ones on sale in the UK are pretty decent for the price - I think the US market ones tend to be different caps - worth a look at UK based ebay sellers.

I did not know this was the same Diamond Dave! You make great caps especially the one the "Milkman" has. Wearing my Robo Cap today. I have 150,000 miles on this cap. It still stays on the head at 80 mph!
