Alan. I did see a lone Hare Krishna cat.
He had some incense, That was cool

I sorta miss the Hippys. I arrived In San Francisco from NYC in the very early 70's
they were Fun Folk.
Met WavyGravy many times, He wore some giant Caps.

That's about the time I left NYC too. I didn't get to SF until much later. My younger brother moved out there after high school.

We lost our Hare Krishnas decades ago. Not enough market for yogurt and converts in our small town. I lived in a commune for a short while and we were part of a group of houses that went once a week to a local dairy farm to buy raw milk. The Hare Krishna house was on the milk run. Everyone brought gallon jugs - except the Krishnas, who used 30 gallon milk pails. They made a lot of yogurt. It was something to help the girls carry these heavy pails into their house... they would mutter "Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna" under their breath the way we might let loose other words. Something I haven't thought of in a while - thanks for the memory jog. Now back to hats!

Seabass, I have a serious case of cap envy! How does the cap hold it's shape around the edge? It almost looks like there is some kind of liner that helps it hold that rounded edge.
