Wearing a City Sport in this one. I have a lot of work to do to this cover, because other people I've seen do it have done a lot better job than what I have. I'm not much of a flat picker, so I am working on trying to play it in my own style... haven't quite nailed it yet. Was going to wear my Wigens in this, but the City Sport went a lot better with the jumper and scarf. It's the second City Sport I bought from Earland bros on ebay... I think it might be better if I tilt the brim up more and pull it down the back of my head a bit. Not a bad cap though, really.

Yes they do, but it will take about minimum 15 days to get your cap from them. They are a little slow, but are worth the wait. Great caps.

Last night I got around to installing a leather sweatband in my Retro Sport Cap. This is the first time I've tried it so what do you guys think? Fits alot better. I will show you a before and after to see if there is a difference in look.

it feels like a light-weight wool
the listing says its a autumn cap
but i wore it today in 81 degree weather & than i went to San francisco with low 70 degree & mild winds & i was comfy & did not sweat, but i cut my hair to the white wall's
so maybe thats why i was comfy, & like i stated a few posts back that the leather conforms better to the bare skin & i do have a X-Long Oval head so i get more pointy structure
here is the ebay link for the same cap, the seller uses a crappy camara due to my 9 diffrent Retro-Sports caps colors look like diffrent caps in person. this cap is a creamy-bone
with light grey-silver chevrons a nice coler & way better than the ebay pics

& my cousin is the sax man in the band, the singer has a cool moto-cap on, we got along great we both had Hudson superwasp cars
this is 16 years ago but was never released till 2006 enjoy !

I think even in this video you can see what a well designed and good fitting cap this Wigens is for me. Note that it's not really a huge cap but it has the perfect depth at the back. I think if human beings had evolved some sort of insect like carapice to fit over there heads, it would be shaped somewhat like a Wigens - it really is a well designed cap. Maybe other caps are funkier or cooler looking, but the Wigens is good at what it does and it's the kind of cap you may only have one of but would definitely make use of in the colder months. It's my favourite cap because it is so easy to wear and seems suitable for any occasion or whatever you are wearing.... Yeah, well, I'd probably go for an eight panel or something more chic if I was wearing a suit, but it's a good workhorse of a winter cap for sure.

The place i get my custom caps from Al's Attire & that did the leather sweatband. Had a 8 point SFPD cap & he showed me that the body was the same
IT was identical to my Mr. Freedom & Retro-Sport caps,,,,, yea really. He had them side by side to compare. I think he renovates the cop caps & customises them
for SFPD, some of the guys want them in a crusher so he does that for them... there is a police station close by. & i sometimes see those caps in the shop.
Actually i Know a Officer & that area is his beat & i always noticed his cap was real vintage looking. were were friends back in the rockabilly/swing days
we both were friends with the band i posted up Royal Crown Revue,,,,
But really the body of the 8 point caps are the same dimension's & fabric cut same size & points identical to the Cop Caps
I had my Mr.Freedom cap on & he had me take it off to compare & same as the French Retro-Sport.......
No wonder He pumped out those custom caps out fast to me,,,,, I had posted up pics a while back on this thread wow !

Yes they dont tour much these days but Sydney Was a important stop back then They actually double billed with a band my brother is in there a couple of times at a huge festival
his band is Michael Franti & Spearhead & they are better known there & parts of Europe then here......He gets or used to be Sponsored By Kangol, my brother gave me a bunch of Kangols but i never wore them....
