The BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD

This was posted here before (just not by me). @Garrett has been kind and generous enough to let this one make the journey home to Europe, for which I can't thank him enough.
Echter Borsalino. Nobelsca model in the colour misto Lodola. Not strictly a homburg but a soft felt hat with an overwelt curled brim. Anyone calling it a homburg anyway is immediately forgiven. A substantial hat with the brim at 6,5cm and the crown 11,5cm at the center dent. Quite lightweight for a hat of these proportions with just 117 grams on the scale. Fits me like a dream. Mid-twenties to mid-thirties is an educated guess.

Gorgeous, Stefan. Lord's hat looking I'd say. Garrett is a very kind guy.

Thanks again, Steve. Lords hat would fit the bill. Garrett is indeed a kind and generous guy and he has a sixth sense in finding the most wonderful hats (in my size!).

All on this hat is beautiful, shape, color and the visible hair but the best is the Brim curl. Love it. Congrats Stefan!

That is good shape...suits you well. Enjoy the cool weather. We had our first 100 degree day a few days ago.

The hot weather changed to more cooler weather today. Hope it changes back before the autumn kicks in.

However, in the meantime, it allowed me to wear this early 1960s Borsalino.

I particularly like the shape of this one.

Thanks, Stefan.

There is indeed a nice feel to the felt. Quite solid. I'm really pleased with this one. It was definitely worth the fleeting meet at the country train station.

Cool enough in Denmark today to wear my ca. late 1940s Borsalino made out of probably pre war materials.

Thanks to Daniele for this one.
