Alan, that's a great hat. Wonderful form. A real treat.Purchased many years ago and gave to my Dad... never posted it here.
Alan, Super!

What a treasure to have such a great photo of your father Alan!Thank you... I'm out visiting my Dad and was happy to reconnect with this hat. I had forgotten the early Zlateff provenance. It is a very small size 5, but my Dad wears it well. This was seven years ago, he is 92 now.

Alan, Yes your Dad wears it well!
Side note: By the way the hat has the separate size stamp.
Hi all. Don't wish to alarm anyone, but if you're in Paris, or nearby, and like Borsalino, proceed in an urgent drooling fashion towards the store called Episode. I'd estimate 98% of their hats are Borsalino at €35 each.
There's maybe 100 inside. 35 is too much for me, so I'm posting here Some from.the 1950s, some modern. Couldn't look at them all.
Usually they had various fur felts at €20 each. Now just Borsies.
The only thing I'm alarmed about is that I'm not in Paris right now. Episode is a great store. There are a few of these Episode shops in Amsterdam too. I've gotten quite a few hats there, but it's always a question of luck wether or not they have anything in your size or taste.Hi all.
