Seems to me that the creator of this bit of headwear is wrong in one very basic fact: It's not a hat, it's a cap! Therefore it cannot be the worlds Best Hat. Best Cap, maybe.

It's a fedora. It just needs a little stiffener.

Haven't I seen these things on horses? I think you pull the sides forward as in the second picture to keep them from getting spooked by traffic and such. I wonder if they have little earholes on the top.

Saudi head-wear hasn't been tested on gardening or fishing as far as I know, and I find their data as to the other activities to be inconclusive.
