That sounds like one of the stunts that students got up to during the summer recess. Their escapades were tolerated because of the amount of money that their antics generated for charity. I have to say that nobody ever thought of finding Excalibur.

One of the most predictable, and boring stunts, by the students at Warwick university, was to go to the Centre of the City of Coventry, climb up onto the statue of Lady Godiva and put a bra on her.

The local newspaper's report that it was a boring stunt, no gem of originality and not worthy of reporting on must have stung those students who had somewhat drunkenly managed to climb up onto Godiva's statue.

The following year they came up with an absolute gem of originality. One morning in the summer, early starters for work in the City of Coventry, were amused to find a set of footprints, the size of Lady Godiva's foot, from the plinth of her statue to a nearby public convenience.

The newspaper were also into their share of originality with the headline: "The Lady's Bladder Could Hold It No Longer!"

This is the haggis, the national dish of Scotland, a type of pudding composed of the liver, heart, and lungs of a sheep (or other animal,) mixed with beef or mutton suet and oatmeal and seasoned with onion, cayenne pepper and other spices. The mixture is packed into a sheep's stomach and boiled.

How on earth could heart, liver & lungs be turned into ice cream?

The salted caramel is fabulous, and the strawberry cheesecake is just so moorish, but Haggis? Seriously?

No. It was caused by a boring data error. On the other hand, this is apparently the second or third time it has happened in the same area. Conspiracy theorists are beginning to whisper. “If this is just a data glitch, how is it that they haven’t fixed it yet? What does data error even mean? Why does it keep happening in the same remote location? Why doesn’t this occasionally happen elsewhere? Is there some other cause that they are not telling us? “ The whole thing is a little bit strange.

Amen Dr Jones. That such men exist in our midst and time astounds me.
Obviously his choice of Oxford instead of Cambridge is a serious misstep which can be excused in wake of his passage. However definitely worthy of honourary FLASK membership.

The St Jack is a ship we discussed before. The RN sank it, we should send a few ships over to Cartagena and take the treasure since they claimed disinterest in gold and jewels and were only focused on History. Fine. Colombia can keep the iron cannon and timber wreck.

I think I like the idea of the UK starting a little war with Colombia over a hoard of sunken Spanish treasure. It’s The romantic in me. (And one small additional war will hardly be noticed.)

First: Julie is who she says she is. She is a Hospice Nurse who also has a YouTube channel that shares hospice experiences, explains things, and gives comfort to care givers. when my wife and I became Care givers, someone shared Julie’s channel with me.

So imagine my surprise when Hospice Nurse Julie shares this “did I just see a ghost?” Video. The clip is from a camera monitoring a sleeping hospice patient‘s bed. There is a story that goes with it… the patient sometimes sees his departed wife and others, etc.

Anyway, like Julie, I have a lot of questions. …but I’d like to believe.

My wife Tina has now retired. In her working life she was a paramedic in the ambulance service. Tina has always had a knack of finding the missing item, she's good at remembering names and her perception would often freak her colleagues.

I can't remember the incident but something happened that she had predicted and from then on she was dubbed, the witch. Tina played up to her reputation, threatening to hex anyone silly enough to cross her. But the classic witch moment came when they were attending a collision on a busy road, at night.

The ambulance had a powerful spotlight that could be rotated to help crews during such an incidence. On this occasion the light failed. Tina's partner that night left her momentarily with the patient and went back to the ambulance in order to turn it around so that they could use the vehicles headlights for vision.

On his return he found that Tina had finished putting the splint in place and the patient was all ready to be put on the ambulance. "How did you manage that?" Her partnered asked, impressed.

"Don't you know?" Tina replied, "Witches see better in the dark!" I tell you, that sealed the witch reputation.
