Yeah. I've have a couple of originals and they are nasty, scarred up, and grainy as hell. I love 'em. The only one of my repro hides that bares a truly strong resemblance to the originals is the Aero 1756, just the right shade of seal, dry, and GRIZZLY.

I'd like to apologize and humbly ask for your forgiveness. I mean that. My intention was in no way meant to insult you.

But, your comment, "Cooper makes a decent jacket for knocking about in." (which I took as somewhat demeaning).....kinda got me riled.

So, hopefully, you'll accept my apology.

Can I buy you a drink?
Harry

Hello,

just want to say, that a historical jacket fits not everybody.
So the Cooper A2s are fitting people with body problems, too.
And it is also an original, a modern original.
Not the quality like Aero ect, but n?ɬ?t realy bad.
Their G1 is a fantatic jacket, buy the way.

Best repro A2 in my book is Buzz Rickson. I currently own an ELC Monarch, Aero (two of them) and recently had a RMNZ RW goatskin (which I recently traded off), and Lost Worlds. None compare to the BR. It is the closes thing to my real 27752 RW. The horsehide is amazing, the fit superb, the look outstanding. Of course all of this comes with a price like over 1000 dollars. I have bought originals for less. However, wearing originals can be a tricky situation since you don't want to get them messed up. I too wish I could buy US. But I go with the repros that are most like the originals. You can't beat an original. Just my two cents.
