My 2nd Eastman A-2 zipper didn't have USA on the back of the slider at all.

It's all too fishy-

Off to Shanghai now-

Hmmnnn...could have been a repro BUT Talon didn't started stamping USA or Made in USA on the backs of their sliders until around 1940 so it could possibly have been an older zipper. I have two late 30's civvie jackets right now with sunburst stopper boxes and unstamped pullers. But who knows?

The triple mark talon you have on the original 27752 is a neat. I had one 27752 original RW that did not have the triple "talon" on it. Just talon on the front and back and not the puller bar as yours has. As far as I know ELC uses NOS talons on their original contract jackets (i.e., RW, Cable, Monarch, and Star). I don't know about their Eastman house style jackets.
