Some eBayer's wife's husband has just handed her a key piece of evidence for the Guardianship/Conservatorship proceedings sure to follow soon.

That's assuming she doesn't opt for a solution that will find her in the criminal justice system.

This isnt about recession, or an article of clothing, its about the crown of a collection, and this person, prolly would have regretted not at least trying for this for the rest of their life.

A lot of times when you see an item like that, the price tag is irrelevant. I would think this is their serious hobby, an investment hobby, and the person might have shuffled some things around to make it happen.

Or they are super rich and just wanted it for their kids room

The real deal. Ive never seen a shirt sell for this much on eBay. Ever. I sell deco dining tables and chairs at work for the same price as this. You could have a 1951 Shoebox Ford in good shape for that much, or an entire collection of vintage suits with shoes to match, or anything better than a single shirt!:
