Green Acres theme song

OK another thread got this in my head;

Green Acres is the place to be

Farm living is the life for me

Land spreadin' out so far and wide

Keep Manhatten, just give me my countryside

Neeew York is where I'd rather stay

I get allergic smelling hay.

I just adore a penthouse view

Darlin I love you, but give me Park Avenue

bada ba bump bump

The Chores

bada ba bump bump

The Stores

Fresh Air

Times Square

You are my wife

Good bye city life

Green Acres we are there.

I seem to always have "I've Got You Under My Skin", playing through my head. But I don't mind, as it reminds me of a special someone...

Reading this has only reinforced the current songs stuck in my head-"Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash and "Big Rock Candy Montain" from O Brother Where Art Thou. If only I knew how they got stuck in my head.

I've got the American Bandstand theme stuck in my head and it won't go away!!!! For the past three days it's been in my dreams, in the back of my head at work and to make matters worse I fed my craving by finding a copy on the net to listen to. :rage: :D

Incidently I've been listening to a 4 cd set I got from Sam's Club called simply The Music of WWII. Good mix, even has some Nelson Eddy in it. Look it up if ya get the chance. The ISBN number is: 7983667802.

lol speaking of Johnny Cash, I had a song of his stuck in my head this weekend....'I put a close watch on this heart of mine,
because you're mine
I'd walk the line'

American bandstand:  I feel sorry for you :)

Replace any mention of candy with Gandhi

and it just stays in your head.

Bow Wow Wow

I Want Candy (Gandhi )

I know a guy who's tough but sweet
He's so fine, he can't be beat
He's got everything that I desire
Sets the summer sun on fire
I want candy, I want candy

Go to see him when the sun goes down
Ain't no finer boy in town
You're my guy, just what the doctor ordered
So sweet, you make my mouth water
I want candy, I want candy

Candy on the beach, there's nothing better
But I like candy when it's wrapped in a sweater
Some day soon I'll make you mine,
Then I'll have candy all the time
I want candy, I want candy
I want candy, I want candy...

or

IGGY POP
"Candy" again "Gandhi"

It's a rainy afternoon
In 1990
The big city geez it's been 20 years-
Candy-you were so fine

Beautiful beautiful
Girl from the north
You burned my heart
With a flickering torch
I had a dream that no one else could see
You gave me love for free

candy, candy , Candy I can't let you go
All my life you're haunting me
I loved you so

Candy, candy , Candy I can't let you go
Life is crazy
Candy baby

Let's do the Turkey Trot

Gobble diddly, gobble gobble diddly.

The weird thing is that I don't mind having it stuck in my head.

Luck Be a Lady Tonight!

Made a small run to Vegas to show my Danish cousins how we do it out West!

There is a 4 show history of Las Vegas from A&E that uses Luck Be A Lady as the theme, great version 2nd only to Sinatra.

I always hear it in my head while I am there.
