Coffee. ................ More coffee.

Same here.
I cannot walk out the door in the morning without my coffee fix. And it has to be real coffee, percolator coffee and very strong !:coffee:
All the rest comes after.

Oh yeah, need the coffee. Moreso having quit smoking years and years ago.

I think the one thing I'd need would have to be ... boots. Nothing ostentatious, just simple working or combat boots. My erm, wardrobe, insofar as it is one, has changed over the years but that has been a constant.

There's a joke that in World War II, the Italian Army stopped advancing in North Africa after sand got into their portable espresso machines.

Oh yes, coffee. But that's more of a necessity than something that I could forget in passing. If I don't have my morning cup the caffeine withdrawl headache is so bad by noon that I might as well call it a day.

i'd have to add coffee to my list as well.

i can go about 48hrs without coffee before the headache starts, but it's such a part of my morning ritual the lack of it starts me listening for the Twilight Zone theme or wondering if Spock has a beard today....

Oh, goodness, how could I have missed it?! Here I have been writing about coffee when I am a person who has to have a real breakfast when she wakes up in the morning.

And I do mean breakfast -- we are not talking a sweet roll or pop-tart here, we are talking real breakfast food, i.e., eggs, toast, coffee, half a grapefruit, or, cereal and milk and toast. Breakfast food!!

It doesn't matter what time of day I wake up -- 4:30 a.m. or noon, or even two in the afternoon, I have to have breakfast food as my first meal of the day, if not at home, then in a restaurant.

And I don't feel right all day if I don't have that particular meal.

Breakfast is certainly underestimated. It somehow sets the tone for the rest of the day in my opinion. Healthy breakfast - healthy day.

Always take a pocket watch with me, its just second nature at this point to have one in my pocket, and naturally i make sure my hair is as neat as possible. i suppose those count as the bare essentials.

You and me both. Bacon and eggs and toast for me, none of this lightweight stuff. Without that blast of concentrated calories, I'm not worth ten cents the rest of the day. I can skip lunch if I have to, and I often skip supper -- but breakfast is compulsory.

My twenty-five year old Mont Blanc in my shirt pocket. It's amazing how naked I feel if I should ever leave home without it. That is a very rare occurance, I can tell you that - I'm distracted all day long!

Oh yeh!.... and the 40mg of Wellbutrin every morning with strong coffee - so I don't leave the house without my Mont Blanc! :D

I just need to take a shower. If I don't, I feel too hot and gross all day. I get all shy and hide my face, too, if I didn't take a shower. So a shower is a necessity.

I can go without breakfast (I often forget to eat, honestly), and I rarely drink coffee. I like to wear some type of jewelry. Right now it's my class ring, but usually it's my dinosaur necklace.

Edit: Sometimes I'll wear a ring as a necklace. So I'll probably end up wearing my class ring as a necklace soon.

My sunglasses.
I wear them 99.9% of the time. Even on cloudy days.
Granted, it's made it so that I'm like a blind mole if I ever do forget them.
But I'm hoping many years of sun protection will prevent any little eye wrinkles later in life.

So far alot of my needs are explained, i.e coffee, wedding ring, breakfast. BUT there is one thing not mentioned at that is my eyebrows! I have to have my eyebrows penciled and groomed before I'll even touch the doorknob.

Flip Flops. I'm "that Caity girl, you know, the one who wore flip flops to school last week in 6 inches of snow and 5 degree weather."

Also, My deo and particular perfume. When Secret decides to switch their deo scents I FREAK. Don't feel like myself for months. I can deal with a slight perfume switch, but It still bugs me.[huh]
