I remember seeing terthered boat racing when I was a littl'un. It was very scary indeed for a six-year-old, what with the noise, spray, speed, and all those men in waders!

They have tether car racing at some UK hotrod events, it's great to see the old models being used. I especially enjoy the propeller-driven ones! They run slotcars, too, which run unbelievably quickly on rails mounted to a wooden track.

Theres a good video of one clocking 200MPH!!!!

Would love a teather car, im quite into my R/C cars but unfortunately they dont go back this far in time :)
