I was browsing through my picture library the other day and came upon these pictures of a Taubers CR I use to own. I do not remember the jacket have only faint recollection.
I can only imagine I sold it because at the time I wore my jacket looser and weight 25 lbs more than I do now.
This is one jacket I would really like to have back

I would not trade the non-labeled basic Cal CR I purchased from monitor or my cream Buco J-100 for it, But I would trade my padded five-panel back Cal CR for it. That is the Cal that caused all the stir here when I negotiated with the seller rather than get into a bidding war.

I had a 1960s Taubers CR in steerhide. Sold it because the fit in the chest and neck was horrible on me despite all the measurements being on point and my body build being slim and average. But I would give a Taubers CR in HH a try for sure. @tmitchell59 sold a few here and may have an opinion...

I sold several because they did not fit! @jonbuilder and I are most likely in competition for one a size 44. I don't recall I've seen one for sale in that size, so we wait. I don't need one, but finding one in my size would be nice.

There was a size 44 in Japan, but it was toast.

I just call them 1960. They may go back a little bit older but not much. I used to think these Tober shirts and jackets were of 50s but many of them are from the early sixties. I think the horsehide ended in the mid-60s
