Last time, I was reading about the tartan and it's an interesting thing to me, because I never know the meanings, before.

And this picture:

That's, was going on, around european teenagers, on wearing scarves, I tell you. ;)

What do you mean? Is there an renaissance of tartan-scarves around?

PS:
Ok, one reason is surely, that all retail goes mainstream, so, overall, there are all these Burberry-like scarves available, so that many people mainly buy the same.

I wear tartan scarves, and I've bought them as presents several times. It's very easy to get a lambswool scarf for about £10 if you shop about.

I see them on the street now and then, but I think they were always popular in Britain. I remember having one about 10 years ago.

Yes, it works with leather-jackets, very nice. Today, I weared this combination and it feels good.

Question:
Are you sticking the scarf under your jacket or let it hang outside?

Um, but the tartans have been discussed many times before on TFL, mostly because they're heavily used as a lining in jackets and coats, both vintage and repros. Just Aero has an entire section of the site devoted only to tartans. I think some of the members even had their own made?
