Very pretty! I wouldn't call it a "high" neckline, though! lol

I bought the floral dress in the coral. The size was a problem, a 4 in the waist and an 8 in the bust, so I bought the 8 and am now taking it apart at the waist to make it fit. I also tried this one, below, on but there was no room in the bust area at all. I really don't know how the sizes work?????

I always have problems finding things at Target that fit properly-- everything always seems to run small in the bust... bah :eusa_doh:

Yet another reason to love your local Target....

I was there yesterday returning that green plaid dress everyone seems to have gotten there (the constant problem I have is too small bust and too big waist).

Cruising the toiletries aisles, I saw:

Weleda!
Clarins!!
KIEHL'S!!!

The Weleda items seemed slightly cheaper than the Weleda website...which is fine by me since I've just decided I am in love with their products. I was very surprised to see Kiehl's there. I wonder if it's because I'm in NY?

Ah Target....

Listening to NPR this morning while getting ready for work, they had a piece about Target. Apparently Isaac Mizrahi has designed some wedding gowns that are being sold at target.com. I checked them out, and there are a couple that are pretty... one has a '30s feel to it - and for only $130!

Who would have thought of buying your bridal gown at Target?

(Of course, I made mine.... ;))

Very pretty !!

Yeah, I stood and stared at it for a good 15 minutes, reading the labels and while it was cute and the packaging was clever....it seemed like it was overpriced and just cute.

I wish there was Target in Canada! The couple of times I have driven over to the one in Buffalo there has been absolutely nothing worth purchasing.

I highly recommend checking out their website. They actually carry several "online only" dresses that are fabulous! And I've found they run pretty true to size (although, I'm small-busted, I think anyone over a B-cup probably has had different experiences).

I wonder if they ship here? I know a lot of American stores will not ship to Canada....I will investigate.

I'm dying without a Target in the Netherlands. There is H&M, which has quite cute stuff, but not as vast a selection and not nearly as cheap. I'm gonna go crazy at Target when I go back home!

I just went to Target today and there's some great stuff. Although, all of their dresses that are pegged as "retro" or "vintage" and are structured REALLY well for us all seem to have taken on the short trend as well. I know I'm freakishly tall and most things run short, but they have been doing 50s lines lately that come to above my knees, which actually makes them look MORE frumpy. Hm.

I still have faith in Target, though. ;)

Yes, too short, and too short-waisted!

I went to Target yesterday and tried on a million dresses. Almost everything that looks good on t he hanger ends up being an Empire waist on the body - and I am already short-waisted, so I know it isn't me! And I wish everything was at least 6 inches longer...
I did buy one dress:

And I plan to add a few rows of the elastic smocking to bring the waist down an ince or two, where it belongs. Otherwise, it's a really cute summer dress, suitable for rolling in the hay...

Oh I tried that on the other day and loved it. It was very comfortable and cute for summer. I agree, the waist should be lower though.

It all depends on one's figure. I tried this one and looked pregnant and very frumpy. I love the look of this dress in the picture, but it just doesn't suit me.

Saw this Mizrahi dress at Target today. Very cute, more fitted than it appears on this model, and fully lined. On their website they have one in magenta and orange too. Sizing runs big because honestly I don't ever remember wearing a size 6, EVER.

On the website, they also have these cute eyelet halter dresses

and these wrap dresses:

The third one, the wrap dress, I tried on at the store. It fits really cute, but the V came down too low on me (I have this problem a lot since I'm only 5') But it's a really cute eyelet design. Look very well made too.
