Talon Zip Question

I have an old jacket with aluminum Talon zips. 1960's I think. Were these a cheap version of the Talon zip? Are they terrible or okay?

We run into these all the time...they seem to be pretty reliable!

Is the zipper pull somewhat long (nearly 1 1/2") and does the Talon logo on the pull have two sets of five lines underneath it? I have a couple of old leather jackets from the late '60s and they have this type of aluminum Talon. The style I described is found on late '60s and '70s jackets. On my jackets they've held up well and have not needed replacement.
