This U.S. Government issued booklet, 'Tale Of A City' has been in my possession my entire life. It arrived in my Dad's mailbox in 1942. It tells the story of the Nazi occupation of Poland and the Warsaw Ghetto to newly engaged Americans at our start in WWII. I don't imagine there are too many of these around in one piece these days. Mine is in near mint condidtion. ≈

Since it was sent to your dad, kept, and passed on to you I would think the sentimental value would be much higher

One Too Many
I have one of the similar booklets issued to my Dad, (2d Lt. US Army) who took part in the 'Torch' N. Africa and Sicily invasions, entitled 'A Short Guide to Great Britain' or somesuch. It's funny as hell as it describes what the authors considered useful tid bits about English colloquialisms, customs, fashion and character. It's also in pristine shape and I would never part with it. Oddly, he never reached England.

(Well, he didn't die of his wounds in Sicily or else my brother and I would have had a different father, or not been born at all, which would have freed up the space for 1,023+ posts here.)
