Hey fellas!! I need help!! Any Idea where I can get (online store) sweaters like these of Buzz Rickson's ?

or even better...: does ANYONE know where I can get buzz ruckson's stuff except japan?

As Scott says- the stuff you can buy easily is the gear from HPA.

thanks fellas, for your help... but I already know eastman leather, they're doing great stuff, but cool sweaters are missing....... yeah I know it's a pain in the ass to get that fine stuff...

Any ideas of COMPARABLE sweaters?

Hold up a mo, Sally, ELC are not the same as HPA, although HPA are US agents for ELC jackets etc. HPA are definitely your best bet for BR stuff outside of Japan, unless, as Scot R says, you have contacts in Japan. I'd advise speaking to Charles DiSipio at HPA on the phone (they seem to have a thing about Email). I know for a fact from a post on VLJ recently that HPA are currently taking orders for Buzz Rickson jackets, pretty much the whole range, so I would hope they could sort you out with a sweatshirt too. I understand Charles is extremely helpful. Fantastic shirts, aren't they? I've fancied one for years, never had the wonga. They are, as I expect you realise, not cheap. Good luck!

In the past I have bought Sugar Cane/Buzz Rickson from Japan through http://www.bid-service.jp/home.html. It was quicker and cheaper(!) to order from Japan than to use History Preservation. Just find the item you want on Rakuten or another japanese website and send it to Juno at bidservice.jp. There are other middlemen as well, but I can personally recommend the speed and service of bidservice.jp.

Does he only work with auctions or will he be the middleman for online stores too?

I have only ever used him for stores because the auction thing seems a little too complicated to me and I would worry about fakes. I used him to buy Sugar Cane jeans from this store: http://www.rakuten.co.jp/hinoya/119663/ and I was extremely satisfied. If I remember right it took under two weeks and ended up costing 50 dollars less than it would have from HPA. The only real downside is that if they don't fit you don't have the same recourse you would with History Preservation. But, with Buzz rickson you could probably sell it on Ebay or on a forum for the same or more than you paid for it.

This was discussed in another thread and may be helpful, though they don't ship to EU and you'd have to find patches - not difficult.
