Sweat drying

If I have sweat heavily into the Akubra Adventurer, should I turn out the headband at the end of the day to help drying? Also, is it a bad idea to remove the liner in the hat?

Some people do turn the sweatband out, but I've read that it can loosen the stitches if done repeatedly, so I personally refrain. And there's nothing wrong with removing the liner, in warm to hot weather it actually helps improve things. (Akubra liners are only loosely glued in, and can be removed and later replaced if you want, with a minimum of fuss either way.)

Yes, if you are a heavy sweater, turning out the leather sweat is a great idea. Especially with Akubras as their sweat bands are not the highest of quality. Removing the liner does not accomplish much. Why do you want to do it? It serves to keep the sweat from the felt itself, or hair product etc. At some point you can take it out and rinse it clean. If it is a good fit you should be able to just lay it back in place or use a few dots of double sided tape to resecure it.
