Superior/Norshor “Minnesota Adventurer” Horsehide Jacket

Hello Everyone! Up for grabs is my custom made Mid-weight Horween Horsehide Jacket made by Superior Flight Apparel (Now Norshor Leathers) by Mark Fisher. It’s unique. He only made one so you’ll never bump into another wearing one! Workmanship is top-notch and it’s barely broken in. Color is a deep dark brown/burgundy. Hardware is heavy-gauge brass, bi-swing back for ease of movement. Lining is olive cotton. I finally had to admit that I will likely never truly fit into it anymore so it just hangs in the closet. Mark and I designed this to be a rugged, utilitarian jacket with a half-belt classic look. It’s still fairly stiff and needs to worn to be truly appreciated.

For scaling, I’m 6-1, 215 lbs. There are a few normal wear spots here and there, mainly on underside of arms. Worst is shown in photo. Thanks for looking!

CHEST (PTP) - 23.5”
LENGTH (From base of collar down) - 29.25”
SLEEVE (From point of shoulder to end of cuff) - 25”
SHOULDER (across yoke) - 20”
WAIST (at belt line) - 21.75”

Agreed! Lately Mark has been working on many of the A-2 maker variants. He's worked closely with GW on patterns and details, and now he has great regional sources for period knits, etc. Plus, he's just fantastic to work with.
