Papperskatt,
do you wear this style of suit yourself, with the top-button-only fastened ?
Yes I do. :)

Or at least sometimes, seeing as I don't own that many pieces (yet :D). I have one tweed jacket from Old Town (used to be a suit, but someone stole the trousers...) that I use pretty much every day during the winter, and of course the old "kaiser Wilhelm II" suit that I bought from Fastuni. I also have a 4 button cotton jacket from H&M in a semi-Edwardian style that I sometimes wear during the summer.

I picked up this suit in a antique store in Stockholm a couple of days ago. It has no markings whatsoever but it's screaming early teens to me.

It's in pristine condition and was reasonably priced so I decided to buy it, even though it's black and the shoulders might be a touch wider than I'd prefer. I wish that it had peak lapels but I guess that beggars can't be choosers...

Fancy buttons and linings.

Cool hidden pocket in the jacket lining.

The waistcoat and trousers have been let out beyond their maximum point by adding more fabric. I'm gonna have to take them in again.

What do you guys think, am I way off or might it be from ~1912?

Splendid find! Love all those details.

A photo of the jacket on the body/puppet would be good to see the silhouette... to me at least it looks rather mid-20's.

I like the three pocket waistcoat. Nice suit. The fancy buttons make me think it would be early, but i don't know much about suits from that period.

Thanks. :) I'll try to get a body shot. The jacket have extremely sloping shoulder seams that I forgot to photograph.

I'm mainly basing my ~1912 date on these two quite similar suits that I've posted before. (And also Qirrels suit from 1912)
